RentoMojo Goes Bold in its Debut Outdoor Campaign

Rentomojo, a furniture renting brand, has released a quirky and bold outdoor campaign with an aim to create more awareness about the brand and get more people to rent furniture online.

With this campaign, the brand has made its debut on the outdoor format.

Designed and conceptualized by the brand’s inhouse team, the campaign targets students, newlyweds, young office goers and others.
The campaign is currently on across Delhi, Mumbai and Pune.

The brand claims of having received an encouraging response from the activation and plans to release more such campaigns in the near future.

It is designed with the basic insight that the first impression of a house comes from the furniture in it. Moreover, furniture helps in creating a sense of comfort and relaxation in the house. So, when guests visit one’s house, and if the owner’s leave it bare (without furniture), it gives the same feeling as a naked man would get in front of onlookers.

Speaking on it, Geetansh Bamania, CEO & Founder, Rentomojo, says, “Once you step out of your parents’ home, renting a flat is the best option that you have. In metro cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai the difference in the rent of a furnished and unfurnished apartment is very high. Therefore, renting furniture and basic appliances instead of buying is a wise decision to make life more convenient. We, as a category creator, aim to provide affordable and convenient rental solutions for all. This is evident in the fact that we started in December, 2014 and today are already seeing an active customer base of about 3,000 across major metros.”

He further adds that this is an unusual and peculiar campaign for a renting company to come up with. “We are sure that our consumers will love the quirky visuals, which has also helped us grab a lot of eyeballs on the roads. The campaign, which ensures our brand prominence and also gives us mass visibility, will eventually help us create widespread awareness among customers,” shares Bamania.

Commenting on the campaign, Anurag Varghese, Senior Visual Designer, Rentomojo, says, “The whole intent behind the campaign was to grab the attention of consumers in a quirky and interesting manner. The creative execution of the campaign endeavors to strike a chord with consumers and manages to get a laugh with its self-effacing humor.”

Mumbai based Span Communications, helped RentoMojo buy media on outdoor real estate across Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Pune.
